Scripts and recordings stay on your device
Nuecue runs in your browser. Your scripts, camera video, and microphone audio are processed locally and never uploaded to our servers. Exported videos download directly to your device.
Camera and microphone
We request camera and microphone access only when you enter the stage. You can revoke permission at any time through your browser settings.
Voice tracking
When you turn on Voice mode, the teleprompter uses your browser's built-in speech recognition service to follow your spoken words. That audio is processed by your browser vendor's speech service (for example, Google's cloud speech service in Chrome), not by Nuecue's servers. You can turn Voice mode off at any time to return to timed scrolling.
Voice mode consent
Voice mode is only enabled after you check the consent box in the stage settings. The checkbox confirms that you understand Voice mode sends your microphone audio to your browser's speech recognition provider (such as Google, Apple, or Microsoft) so the prompter can follow your spoken words. Your script is sent alongside the audio only to help match what you say to the text on screen. You can disable Voice mode at any time by unchecking the same box, which also turns the microphone off and stops sending audio to the speech provider.
Analytics and cookies
Nuecue does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that identify you personally. Basic hosting logs (IP address, user agent) may be retained by our host for security purposes.
